Studies Dr. Theodosis Theodosiou holds a diploma (2004) and Doctorate (2010) in Mechanical Engineering & Aeroanutics by the University of Patras in the area of computational nanomechanics and multiscale modeling, as well as a MSc degree in Information Systems (2016) by the Hellenic Open University.

Professional/Research/Academic Experience He worked as a Research Engineer (2004-2010) and as PostDoc Fellow (2010-2019) at the Lab. of Applied Mechanics and Vibrations at the Dept. of Mechanical Engineering & Aeronatuics (Univ. Patras, Greece). He has participated in numerous research projects, funded by national and international resources (FP6, FP7, CleanSky JTI etc.). In 2018 he was elected as Assistant Professor at the Dept. of Mechanical Engineering TE of TEI Thessaly. In May 2019, he joind the Faculty of University of Thessaly (Generel Dept.). In Dec 2019, he joined the Faculty of the Dept. of Energy Systems (Univ. Thessaly). In 2023, he was elected as an Associate Professor in "Computational methods for the analyis and design of Materials, Structures and Constructions".

Teaching Experience He has tought IT and FEA courses at the University of Patras. In the University of Thessaly, he teaches 1. Technical Drawing, 2. Automatic Control Systems, 3. Numerical Analysis for Structures and Energy Systems, 4. Finite Elements for Constructions, 5. Metallic Structures, 6. Advanced Sensor Technologies.

Publications He has more than 35 publications in peer reviewed journals and conferences in the area of nanotechnology, computaional mechanics, and information technology. He has publised a book on CAD for structures, which is employed as teaching material in Greek universities.

Administrative Experience Since he joined the University of Thessaly, he has participated in more that 40 Committees for the evaluation of personnel, studies program reformation, research project management etc.
