Short CV: 

 Dr. Nikolaos Papandrianos is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Energy Systems in University of Thessaly, (former Nursing Department), Greece, since he was appointed in 2018.

He graduated from the Medical School of University of Patras, Greece in 2000 and he completed his PhD thesis in Nuclear Medicine from the same University in 2011. He did the Medical Specialty Training in General Hospital of Karditsa, Greece (2004) and University Hospital, Patras, Greece (2005-2009). Afterwards, he was Consultant in Nuclear Medicine Department of University Hospital, Larissa, Greece (2009-2010). From 03/2011 to 09/2020, he held the position of Director of the Nuclear Medicine Laboratory, “Diagnostico Medicine Ltd”, Larissa, Greece.

He has authored up to 65 publications in journals and conferences (Citations 594, h-Index 14, i10-index 19), and his recent scientific work is focused on nuclear medicine and medical imaging methodologies in nuclear medicine applying machine learning. He has written 1 book chapter in book “Basic Principles of Oncological Nursing and Relief Care”, Broken Hills and he has also given 3 invited lectures in Seminars and Congresses. Overall, he participated in 39 national and international conferences and seminars.

His research interests include nuclear medicine, nuclear imaging, decision making, myocardial perfusion scintigraphy, SPECT/CT imaging, and medical informatics with applications in artificial intelligence techniques.
