Short CV: Dr Marios N. Moschakis received a diploma in Electrical & Computer Engineering and a Ph.D. degree from the School of Electrical & Computer Engineering of National Technical University (Athens, Greece). In 2018, he was elected Associate Professor at Electrical Engineering Department (T.E.I. of Thessaly, Larissa, Greece) and appointed as Academic Staff member of Department of Energy Systems (University of Thessaly) on November 2019. His research interests include Electric Power Quality, Grid Integration of Distributed RES, Smart Energy Networks, Sea wave and Tidal energy, Electric Vehicles and Charging Stations Infrastructure. Since 1998, he has been actively involved in more than 15 European projects within the Framework Programme (Care, MicroGrids, Dispower, Der-Lab, Merge, etc) and several national R&D programmes (Pythagoras, Arcimedes III, Thales, etc).  He has co-authored more than 50 scientific papers published in international journals and conference proceedings, book chapters and project deliverables. He has been reviewer of scientific papers and also invited expert-evaluator of proposals (FP, Horizon, etc). Since 2011, he has been appointed by T.E.I. of Thessaly as Supervisor of the electromechanical installation and construction activities in campus buildings. He has been responsible for the student’s practical training (since 2014), head or member for the internal evaluation of courses and teaching staff of his Department, member of the steering committee for the Master of Science Programme in “Energy and Automation Systems” (since 2016), member of international committees and member of the Technical Chamber of Greece.
